The most exciting news this month is the confirmation of the premiere of "Hommage à Paris" in Westminster Cathedral on Sunday 8th June at 4.45pm, played by the Master of Music, Martin Baker.
Hommage à Paris is in 5 movements and pays hommage to many of the great French organist-composers while still retaining its own unique voice. Copies of the score are available for purchase at www.chichestermusicpress.co.uk/hommageaparis
Following the premiere, four other organists have agreed to take on the challenge of performing the suite: Jillian Gardner (USA), Geoffrey Woollatt (Chester Cathedral), Ekaterina Melnikova (Russia), and Maria Magdalena Kaczor (Poland).
I'm also pleased to say that my new Mass Setting for ATB + Organ, written for the Lay Clerks of St. Asaph Cathedral, has been published. Copies may be purchased at www.chichestermusicpress.co.uk/missasanctikentigerni
