Rydal School, Bangor Cathedral Choir and St. Asaph Cathedral Choir are all performing "In a lowly stable's manger" at their carol services.
The Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir premiered the Jubilate written for their 80th Anniversary to a capacity audience in St. Asaph Cathedral, which was well received.
This weekend, the St. Asaph and Colwyn Choral Societies will premiere "The Seven Trumpets", which is programmed alongside Karl Jenkins' "The Armed Man". Graham Eccles will be directing this performance with myself at the organ and members of the Philharmonia of North Wales.
Next month sees the first two recording sessions of the CD of my choral works. I'm extremely excited about this and looking forward to hearing the Ely Cathedral Girls' Choir and the Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge bring these works alive - in some cases for the first time! It's such an honour to have a director as gifted as Sarah MacDonald to conduct this recording with her two excellent choirs. I'm also delighted that Olivia Hunt will join us for the Requiem as the guest soprano soloist.
The final recording session will take place with the Ely Cathedral Girls' Choir in February; watch out for a release date! Regent Records are undertaking this recording.
